Term Life Insurance question?

I recently retired from my job and lost all my benefit’s . I was wondering I am 62 years old and if I buy term life insurance at 62 and if something should happen to me in a year or so would my family collect the 15,000 policy or would they get a different rate. I have no idea how Life insurance works. Can anyone tell me the best Insurance to get at my age. I am in good health but don’t want to leave a lot of expenses if I pass away. I would appreciate all answers

Most policy’s have a 2 year look back window. As long as you didn’t outright lie on your insurance application the full death benefit of the policy would pay out. An outright lie would be like saying you didn’t have cancer, but you really did.

Your first question should be what do I want the policy to do? Do you want a large face amount but only for a set period of time (term) or do you want a smaller face amount that is guaranteed to last forever (permanent)?

Buying online and through an independent life insurance broker is how you will get your best deal too. Good Luck!

Call your state insurance department and ask for the names of companies with an A.M. Best rating of A, A+, or A++. These companies are financially stable, and have excellent claims-paying abilities.

A.M. Best has been independently rating insurance companies for over 100 years.

Call your local agent and have him/her do a Total Needs evaluation to help you determine what your insurance needs are.

If something happens to dad who has full custody, who would get custody?

My husband has full legal and physical custody of my step-daughter. Her mother willingly gave custody to him and she has no role in the child’s life (she lives 5 minutes away but hasn’t seen her or talked to her in about 4 years). I am Mom and doctors, teachers, etc see me as such. Most of her health insurance is through my employer and I pay for it. If daughter was to choose where to stay if something happened to her dad I am very confident she would want to stay with me (she is ten). My question is this, if my husband passed away, who would likely get custody of my step-daughter? Would her mom possibly get custody even though she signed it over to my husband? Would I be likely to get custody? Would husband’s parents be likely to get custody? I guess I want to know where I would stand in relation to my daughter’s biological mom and her grandparents. In comparison to her biomom and grandparents, I have had the biggest role in her life since I married her dad 6 years ago. Any thoughts? We all live in Indiana.

You will not die in case you follow the following routines.

To get relief follow the undermentioned routine.

Do not sleep for at least 3 hours after a meal. This is most important.

If you are a sports person / or work out regularly – do not drink water within 2 hours after a workout. Also you should not drink water within 30 minutes before starting workout,

1. First 7 days

Drink 2 glasses of water before each meal. So total should be 6 glasses a day. Stop all other liquids.

For example if you take lunch at 2.00 pm, take 1 glass each at 1.00 and 1.30 pm. Some deviations from suggested times are ok.

Do not drink water after 7 PM.

2. Next 7 days
